Scott Sagerman MD

Dr. Sagerman is a native Chicagoan.  He has dedicated his professional career to caring for patients needing treatment for injuries and conditions affecting their upper extremities.  With over 30 years of experience, he uses both surgical and non-surgical techniques to relieve pain and restore function.

Background and Education

Dr. Sagerman graduated from Northwestern University in the Honors Program in Medical Education and received his M.D. degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. Next, he served as an intern in the Department of Surgery at Emory University-affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia, where he also completed his residency in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He received his fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York.
